5th out of 11 in the IM3 8+ category in a time of 06:36 and 5th out of 5 in the IM2 8+ category in a time of 06:37
The first race was very scrappy, so we had a rethink on how to attack the second. Despite a massive change in conditions, we managed to put together a much better race. The large headwind affected Queens' by around 20s but we only slowed by 1s in our second race. We came 3rd out of the Cambridge colleges in IM3, being beaten by Downing (6:06) and Queens' and then came second of the colleges in IM2, beaten by 7s by Queens'. Queens' are currently 4th in Lents so things are still looking good for us. Expect copious amounts of trademarked Yellow Fire in two weeks time...
